Job Summary

The Wastewater Treatment Operator I (2nd Shift) plays a critical role in supporting wastewater operations at our Santa Ana plant. You'll handle inspection, monitoring, and maintenance of pump stations, batch treatment of plating wastewater, filter press operations, and pH meter calibrations. This position requires working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring all processes comply with OSHA and environmental guidelines. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment facilities, including batch treatment, filter press, and chemical analyzers.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and lubricate pumps, channels, tanks, and sumps.
• Perform AA analysis, calibrate pH meters, and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Manage inventory of process supplies and ensure housekeeping standards in the treatment area.
• Handle general cleanup of spills, plating lines, hazardous waste, and scrubbers.
• Operate forklifts and return equipment to service after shutdowns or outages.
• Adhere to all safety rules, wear required PPE, and promote a safe work environment.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year in wastewater treatment operations; 1+ year with industrial chemicals or metal plating.
