About the Role

Wayfair's Accounting & Reporting Intern role in Galway, Ireland, offers a 6-month opportunity starting in January to join the team managing core accounting processes and systems that underpin the company's massive e-commerce operations. With daily visits from two million customers shopping over 10 million home products, the team ensures clean, accurate, and fast financial information, particularly supporting warehouse, logistics, and supply chain efficiency in a data-driven, cost-conscious environment. Interns contribute to concealing the complexity of high-volume fulfillment through precise financial structuring and reporting. Focusing on warehouse and logistics specifics, the role involves assisting with financial data accuracy for inventory management, cost analysis of home furnishings and improvement products distribution, and reporting systems that power Wayfair's global operations from the Galway office (Monday-Thursday in-office, Friday remote). This position provides exposure to the financial backbone of Wayfair's supply chain, helping maintain the operational excellence required to deliver home goods swiftly and economically across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in core accounting processes for Wayfair's operations
• Support monthly financial reporting and close activities
• Help maintain accuracy of financial data for logistics and supply chain

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Eligible to work in Ireland
• Available for 6-month internship starting January
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work Monday-Thursday in Galway office
• Interest in financial reporting processes
