About the Role

Wayfair's Perigold brand is launching its first physical luxury retail stores in West Palm Beach, Florida, spanning 20-30K square feet and featuring premium furniture, decor, housewares, and home improvement products from across the catalog. The Assistant Store Manager of Sales will oversee all sales operations, leading a team of in-store Designers and Product Specialists while collaborating with the Guest Experience Lead and reporting to the Store Manager. This role emphasizes warehouse-to-retail logistics, including inventory management, product replenishment from Wayfair's supply chain, and efficient merchandise handling to support high-volume luxury sales. Key focus areas include driving sales performance, optimizing store operations tied to Wayfair's logistics network, training staff on product logistics, and ensuring seamless customer experiences in a first-of-its-kind retail destination. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all sales functions and lead team of Designers and Product Specialists
• Drive in-store sales targets through luxury product expertise
• Collaborate with Guest Experience Lead on customer service operations
• Manage inventory logistics, stock replenishment, and product displays
• Report directly to Store Manager on sales performance and operations
• Ensure efficient store operations including merchandise handling
• Train staff on product knowledge and sales techniques
• Monitor warehouse deliveries and coordinate with logistics teams

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail sales management experience in luxury or high-end retail
• Proven track record of leading sales teams to achieve targets
• Experience in luxury home goods, furniture, or design industry
• Strong understanding of inventory management and product merchandising
• Ability to manage store operations including opening/closing procedures
• Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or related field
• Availability for flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in luxury retail brands like Perigold or similar
• Background in warehouse-to-retail logistics coordination
• Knowledge of Wayfair's supply chain and fulfillment processes
