This role heads the Shanghai-based team, partnering closely to optimize supply chain performance and power Wayfair's CastleGate warehousing and logistics across Wayfair and non-Wayfair channels. Focus areas include strategic inventory management, fulfillment partnerships, and operational improvements in warehouse efficiency and order reliability. As Associate Director, you will lead a growing team of 20+ in a high-impact role, owning end-to-end inventory strategies for Asian suppliers. Responsibilities emphasize relationship-driven leadership, data-informed optimizations, and scaling logistics operations to support Wayfair's expansion. Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20+ in Supplier Inventory Management for Asia-based operations
• Own strategic inventory partnerships with key Asian suppliers
• Optimize supply chain performance to ensure product availability and speed
• Drive reliability in warehousing and logistics via CastleGate platform
• Partner closely with suppliers to enhance fulfillment across order channels
• Develop and execute inventory strategies for best-in-class customer experience
• Monitor and improve key metrics in inventory turnover and order fulfillment
• Collaborate with Category Management & Lifestyle Brands on operational goals
• Scale team and processes to support Wayfair's growth in Asia

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in supply chain management or inventory optimization
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing teams of 20+ in logistics or warehousing
• Deep expertise in Asia-based supplier partnerships and fulfillment operations
• Proven track record in optimizing supply chain performance for e-commerce
• Strong operational experience in warehousing and logistics, particularly CastleGate
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
• Experience with multi-channel order fulfillment (Wayfair and non-Wayfair)
• Fluency in English and Mandarin

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or advanced degree in Operations or Logistics
• Prior experience in home goods or furniture supply chain
• Hands-on experience with Wayfair's CastleGate logistics platform
• International supply chain certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM)
