About the Role

Wayfair's Logistics & Lab Operations Coordinator role in Shanghai supports the Category Management & Lifestyle Brands department by managing the end-to-end lifecycle of product samples in the Retail Lab. This hands-on position focuses on warehouse and logistics specifics, including coordinating sample requests with suppliers, overseeing receipt, unpacking, assembly, labeling, and preparation for audits, while maintaining precise inventory logs to ensure operational efficiency in a dynamic e-commerce environment. Key to success is strong coordination with internal teams and suppliers to facilitate smooth facility operations, troubleshoot logistics challenges, and handle returns or disposals compliantly. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full lifecycle of product samples from supplier request to receipt, auditing, and final return or disposal
• Ensure onsite team properly receives, unpacks, assembles, labels, and prepares samples for auditing
• Maintain accurate logs of all samples and their status
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to facilitate smooth sample flow
• Support day-to-day operations of the Shanghai Retail Lab facility
• Manage inventory and storage of samples in warehouse setting
• Oversee sample preparation for quality audits and logistics handoffs
• Troubleshoot logistics issues in a fast-paced environment
• Coordinate returns and disposals per compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in logistics coordination or warehouse operations
• Proficiency in inventory tracking and sample management systems
• Strong organizational skills for managing product lifecycles
• Experience in supplier coordination and cross-functional team collaboration
• Familiarity with warehouse receiving, unpacking, and assembly processes
• Ability to maintain accurate logs and documentation
• Hands-on experience in fast-paced operations environments
