About the Role

Interns join a high-impact ML team with over 20 sub-teams focused on Search, Pricing, Personalization, and especially Supply Chain, where you'll develop scalable algorithms to optimize inventory, demand forecasting, and logistics efficiency across Wayfair's vast fulfillment network. Under expert mentorship, you'll progress from problem scoping with operations stakeholders to building and deploying production-ready ML models that directly drive revenue and streamline warehouse processes. The role emphasizes collaboration across teams to address key business pain points, such as supply chain scalability and real-time pricing for logistics. Key Responsibilities

• Develop ML models to optimize supply chain and logistics operations

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
• Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Experience with data processing and feature engineering at scale
• Familiarity with supply chain optimization challenges
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics stakeholders
• Available to work full-time from June 1 to August 7, 2026

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in logistics or supply chain ML projects
