About the Role

Wayfair is seeking a Manager, Safety & Security for the APAC region to join the Global Safety & Security (GLOSS) team, focusing on warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain support in Shanghai, China. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Safety & Security Operations, this role ensures the seamless implementation of critical programs including travel security for logistics teams, safety initiatives in fulfillment centers, event support for facility activations, first aid readiness across sites, regulatory compliance with APAC standards, threat intelligence for operational resilience, and business continuity planning to minimize disruptions in Wayfair's growing e-commerce logistics network. The position demands proactive engagement to safeguard warehouse personnel, inventory, and transportation assets amid regional expansion. This highly cross-functional role requires close collaboration with GLOSS functions, operations leaders, and partners to deliver consistent safety outcomes in dynamic logistics environments. Success hinges on influencing stakeholders at all levels—from site managers to senior executives—while contributing APAC insights to global initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive warehouse-specific safety enhancements, mitigate logistics risks, and foster a culture of security in Wayfair's high-volume operations across Asia-Pacific.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent delivery of GLOSS safety and security programs across APAC operations
• Oversee travel security protocols for warehouse and logistics teams
• Manage safety initiatives and first aid readiness in fulfillment centers
• Drive regulatory compliance for Wayfair's APAC warehouses and transportation networks
• Provide threat intelligence to support uninterrupted logistics operations
• Develop and execute business continuity plans for supply chain disruptions
• Collaborate with operations leaders on security for events and facility openings
• Contribute to global GLOSS initiatives with APAC logistics insights
• Influence stakeholders to align on safety standards in cross-functional warehouse projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety management, security, operations, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in safety and security operations within logistics or supply chain
• Proven track record in regulatory compliance for warehouse and transportation safety in APAC
• Experience managing threat intelligence and business continuity in operations environments
• Strong knowledge of APAC safety regulations and first aid standards for logistics facilities
• Demonstrated ability to support travel security for operations teams across regions
• Experience in event support and safety initiatives for supply chain operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CISSP)
• Prior experience in e-commerce or warehouse logistics operations
• Fluency in Mandarin and English
• International experience in APAC supply chain security
