Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts, conveyors, and warehouse equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure equipment uptime and safety
• Respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime in logistics operations
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance logs
• Collaborate with warehouse operations team to support delivery standards
• Install and upgrade material handling systems as needed
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
• Support inventory accuracy through reliable equipment performance

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years of experience as a mechanic in a warehouse or industrial setting
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills for material handling equipment
• Knowledge of forklift and conveyor systems maintenance
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labor
• Availability for rotating shifts including nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification or equivalent
• Experience with Wayfair logistics equipment
• Familiarity with PLC systems
• Previous work in e-commerce fulfillment centers
