Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on warehouse material handling equipment including forklifts and conveyors
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime
• Conduct routine inspections and lubricate machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures in the fast-paced distribution environment
• Support logistics operations by maintaining asset-based warehouse systems
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to improve delivery standards and reduce damage
• Document all maintenance activities and repairs accurately
• Assist in installing new equipment and optimizing logistics workflows
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations in warehouse operations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• At least 2 years of experience as a mechanic in a warehouse or industrial setting
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems in material handling equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification or equivalent
• Experience maintaining forklifts, conveyors, and automated warehouse systems
• Previous work in e-commerce or logistics distribution centers
• Familiarity with Wayfair's logistics network and equipment
