About the Role

Wayfair is establishing its inaugural Merchandising team in Shanghai to enhance support for suppliers and Category operations in the WGS region, with a strong emphasis on warehouse and logistics compliance. The Merchandising Compliance Sr. Associate will be at the forefront of resolving supplier-related issues, ensuring product compliance in supply chain workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless inventory and shipping processes. This role focuses on keeping customers safe by upholding standards for products, services, and logistics offerings in a dynamic e-commerce environment. Key responsibilities include providing hands-on product compliance education to suppliers, addressing high-impact logistics problems, delivering accurate and timely operational support, and proposing data-driven insights for long-term improvements in warehouse operations and merchandising. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced settings, excels at problem-solving, and is passionate about optimizing supplier experiences within Wayfair's global supply chain. Key Responsibilities

• Resolve supplier issues related to product compliance in WGS region
• Provide education to suppliers on compliance and logistics standards

Required Qualifications

• Experience in e-commerce merchandising or supplier compliance
• Strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments
• Ability to work directly with suppliers and cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of product compliance standards in logistics and supply chain
• Proficiency in warehouse operations and inventory accuracy
• Familiarity with international shipping and customs regulations
• Excellent communication skills for supplier education
• Ability to drive workflow improvements in operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Asia-Pacific supply chain logistics
• Background in Wayfair or similar e-commerce operations
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Prior exposure to merchandising compliance in warehouse settings
