About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient order fulfillment and delivery standards
• Lead and develop a team of associates in a fast-paced distribution environment
• Optimize logistics processes to speed up deliveries and minimize product damage
• Monitor and improve key performance metrics for customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Implement best practices in inventory management and warehouse layout
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the supply chain network
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the Wayfair Distribution team
• Manage multiple shifts and staffing to meet fluctuating demand

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management
• Proven track record in managing high-volume distribution centers
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced warehouse environments
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and OSHA compliance
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure logistics setting
• Experience optimizing delivery processes to reduce damage and speed up fulfillment

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years in e-commerce or furniture logistics
• Lean Six Sigma certification
• Experience with asset-based warehouse networks
• Previous management role in a Wayfair-like distribution operation
