About the Role

At Wayfair's Columbus, Ohio retail location, the Retail Asset Protection Manager plays a pivotal role in safeguarding warehouse-integrated store operations. Reporting to the Regional Asset Protection Manager, you will lead a team of ASMs, Specialists, and Guest Experience Hosts to cultivate a culture of safety, trust, and accountability. This position emphasizes minimizing shrink through strategic partnerships with Sales, Logistics, Visual, and Talent teams, ensuring seamless operations from inventory receipt to customer delivery while responding effectively to incidents and maintaining compliance in a high-volume environment. Beyond traditional risk management, this role focuses on inspiring confidence and fostering collaboration to create a secure, welcoming space where customers and associates thrive. You will oversee daily security protocols, leverage data-driven insights for loss prevention, and integrate asset protection into every aspect of the retail experience, with a strong emphasis on logistics efficiency and warehouse-store synergy at Wayfair. Key Responsibilities

• Lead team of ASMs, Specialists, and Hosts to maintain secure store and warehouse environments
• Oversee shrink minimization through collaboration with Sales, Logistics, and Visual teams
• Respond to incidents, conduct investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Build culture of safety, trust, and accountability in retail operations
• Partner with logistics to protect property and inventory across store functions
• Monitor and report on asset protection metrics tied to warehouse efficiency
• Train associates on safety protocols and loss prevention in high-traffic areas
• Foster collaboration with Talent team for secure onboarding and operations
• Drive continuous improvement in risk management for customer and associate safety

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of asset protection or loss prevention experience in retail or logistics environments
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams in high-volume warehouse or store operations
• Proven track record in shrink reduction and incident response in supply chain settings
• Strong knowledge of retail compliance, safety regulations, and OSHA standards for warehouses
• Experience partnering with logistics and operations teams to minimize inventory loss
• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business, Logistics, or related field
• Ability to conduct investigations and manage security protocols in fast-paced retail ops
• Certification in asset protection (e.g., LPC, Wicklander-Zulawski training)

• Background in multi-site management across logistics hubs
