About the Role

Wayfair is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Platforms for its Full Stack Engineering team in Bangalore, India, to join the AI Platforms team. This role focuses on building cutting-edge platforms, frameworks, and services to address complex challenges in developing AI applications at scale within Wayfair's vast logistics network—the largest custom e-commerce large parcel network in the US, spanning approximately 1.6 million square meters of logistics space. The inherently variable ecosystem demands flexible, reliable, and resilient systems for efficient operations, with emphasis on warehouse and logistics optimization through AI-driven solutions. Candidates will architect solutions to enhance the performance of Wayfair's logistics operations, tackling issues like observability, scalability, and adaptability in a high-volume parcel environment. Preferred candidates are Bangalore-based and must adhere to hybrid work schedules. This position offers the chance to impact Wayfair's entire supply chain by innovating in AI platforms tailored to the dynamic nature of large-scale warehousing and distribution.
