About the Role

The Software Engineer III, Fulfillment Execution role is based in Wayfair's Boston office under a hybrid policy requiring 3 days per week on-site. This position is part of the Fulfillment Execution Engineering team, which powers Wayfair's physical supply chain through the development and scaling of a next-generation Warehouse Management System (WMS). The team focuses on delivering reliable, precise, real-time inventory control and order processing, owning critical microservices, APIs, and integrations that link the WMS to Wayfair's broader ecosystem including order management (OMS), transportation (TMS), and automated warehouse equipment. As a key contributor, you will empower Wayfair's supply chain operations by building the technical backbone for the entire fulfillment network. Responsibilities include enhancing mission-critical systems that ensure seamless warehouse execution, from inventory accuracy to order fulfillment.
