The Software Engineering Manager will lead a full-stack team responsible for the ad-delivery lifecycle—from product eligibility evaluation based on warehouse context to auction-based selection for optimal placement in picking and shipping processes—ensuring seamless integration into Wayfair's storefront apps used by operations staff. This role focuses on scaling advertising technology to support high-performing campaigns that boost supplier exposure while maintaining exceptional efficiency in Wayfair's vast logistics network. Responsibilities include managing development across web and mobile, optimizing for real-time performance, and collaborating with suppliers to align sponsored content with operational demands. The position is based in Toronto, Canada, within the Full Stack Engineering department, offering a chance to drive innovation at the intersection of advertising and supply chain execution. Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts to integrate sponsored product visibility into warehouse picking prioritization
• Manage full-stack development for logistics dashboard displaying sponsored supplier inventory
• Oversee auction systems for sponsored slots in fulfillment operations workflows
• Ensure seamless ad delivery across web/mobile apps used by warehouse associates
• Optimize ad evaluation processes for real-time product eligibility in logistics contexts
• Collaborate with suppliers to enhance product exposure in Wayfair's supply chain
• Drive technical improvements in operations for US, CA, and Professional segments
• Scale systems to handle high-volume sponsored campaigns impacting warehouse throughput

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on warehouse inventory systems
• 3+ years managing engineering teams in logistics platforms
• Experience with supply chain optimization algorithms
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven track record in scaling operations for high-volume fulfillment centers
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Experience with real-time logistics data processing

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain Management
• Experience at e-commerce companies with large warehouse networks
• Familiarity with Wayfair's logistics infrastructure
