About the Role

Wayfair is seeking a Supplier Acquisition Manager in Shanghai, China, within the Category Management & Lifestyle Brands department to drive the Asia-based supplier program. This role focuses on managing supplier acquisition and business partnerships, collaborating with external partners, suppliers, and internal cross-functional teams—including warehouse and logistics operations—to onboard suppliers onto Wayfair's platform. The position emphasizes innovating supply chain solutions to ensure efficient logistics, timely fulfillment, and seamless integration with Wayfair's global operations. As a highly analytical and entrepreneurial team manager, you will lead the end-to-end vertical supplier acquisition process, from lead identification to contract negotiation, with a strong emphasis on partners who excel in warehouse management, inventory control, and distribution logistics. In this fast-paced environment, you will solve complex business problems creatively, optimize Asia supply chains for Wayfair's e-commerce model, and deliver material impact on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Lead supplier acquisition for Asia-based programs, focusing on logistics and fulfillment capabilities
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers with strong warehouse and distribution networks
• Negotiate partnership contracts emphasizing operational efficiency and on-time delivery
• Onboard suppliers onto Wayfair's platform, integrating with global logistics systems
• Collaborate with internal warehouse operations and logistics teams for seamless integration
• Develop business partnerships to optimize supply chain for Wayfair's China operations
• Analyze supplier performance metrics related to inventory management and shipping
• Drive real-time improvements in supplier logistics to impact business outcomes
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Wayfair's operations standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in supplier acquisition or business development in e-commerce or retail
• Proven track record in managing supplier onboarding processes in Asia
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating logistics and supply chain partners
• Experience negotiating supplier contracts with focus on operations and fulfillment
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams including warehouse and logistics operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in furniture or home goods supply chain logistics
• Knowledge of Wayfair's global supplier program and warehouse operations
• MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain Management
