Position Summary
Join Sonoco in Overath as a Toolmaker - Mold Technology (all genders). In this full-time, mid-level role, you will play a critical part in our production excellence by independently manufacturing, maintaining, and repairing plastic injection molds and extrusion tools. If you have a completed apprenticeship as a Toolmaker with experience in mold making or machining, this is your chance to thrive in a dynamic, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Eigenverantwortliche Herstellung, Wartung und Instandsetzung von Kunststoff-Spritzguss- und Extrusionswerkzeugen
- Bedienen und Programmieren von gängigen Werkzeugmaschinen
- Umrüsten, Warten, Reinigen sowie die betriebsfähige Bereitstellung der Spritzgusswerkzeuge für die Produktion
- Umsetzung der Arbeitssicherheitsvorschriften
Required Qualifications
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung zum Werkzeugmechaniker oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Formenbau oder Zerspanungstechnik
- Erfahrungen an gängigen Werkzeugmaschinen
- Selbständiges Arbeiten
- Hohes Maß an Teamfähigkeit, Flexibilität, konstruktivem Denken
