RESUME AND JOB
ConocoPhillips
Join ConocoPhillips, a global leader in oil and gas exploration and production, as a Willow Operations Representative in Houston, Texas. This pivotal role shapes the future of the groundbreaking Willow project on Alaska's North Slope, ensuring seamless operations and maintenance from design through full-field startup.
ConocoPhillips stands as one of the world's largest independent exploration and production companies, with proved reserves and production of liquids and natural gas. Operating in 13 countries, we explore, develop, and produce crude oil and natural gas to power civilization safely and responsibly.
Our SPIRIT Values—Safety, People, Integrity, Responsibility, Innovation, and Teamwork—guide every decision. We're not just delivering energy; we're doing it with excellence that sets us apart in a dynamic energy sector.
In Alaska, we dominate as the largest crude oil producer, with major stakes in Prudhoe Bay, Kuparuk, and Western North Slope. Holding nearly one million net undeveloped acres, our operations fuel 14% of consolidated liquids production.
The Willow project in the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska (NPR-A) promises 180,000 barrels of oil per day at peak. It creates 2,500 construction jobs (mostly union) and 300 permanent roles, generating $8-17 billion in revenue for federal, state, and local entities.
Phases include detailed design (2023-2025), Operations Center fabrication and installation (2023-2027), and Central Processing Facility commissioning (2027-2029). This greenfield development features processing facilities, utilities, drilling equipment, camp, and power generation.
Based in Houston, Texas, the Willow Operations Representative brings deep expertise in North Slope production facilities, drillsites, pipelines, operations, and maintenance. Reporting to the Willow Operations Rep Team Lead, you'll advocate for future O&M needs during the critical 'execute' phase, transitioning to the long-term Willow O&M team upon North Slope mobilization.
As part of the Willow Asset Team, focus on delivering the Willow Central Facility (WCF) and Drillsites (BT1/2/3) through fabrication and commissioning. Navigate trade-offs between capital expenditures and lifelong O&M costs when design changes are challenging.
This role demands strategic insight into greenfield projects, influencing outcomes that sustain Willow's 180,000 bpd production for decades.
Ideal candidates thrive in innovative environments, prioritizing safety and integrity while driving energy sector advancements.
At ConocoPhillips, you'll contribute to a legacy project powering Alaska and beyond. Enjoy:
