Business Operations Manager (Analytics)

As a Business Operations Manager (Analytics) in our General team, you'll join a newly established function bridging Product, Engineering, and Operations to drive large-scale transformational projects in our servicing organization. With over 15 million customers and £9 billion moved monthly, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape a globally scalable, cost-effective model at one of Europe's fastest-growing companies. Your mission is to lead complex, multi-team programs from discovery to rollout, with a focus on analytics transformation. You'll spearhead the migration to a new BI platform, scale self-serve data products like metrics layers and dashboards, foster Engineering-Analytics partnerships, and define success metrics to boost trust, adoption, and efficiency. Outcomes include seamless migrations without KPI regressions, higher data trust, reduced ad-hoc requests, and optimized costs. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver complex, multi-team programs end-to-end (discovery to rollout) with strong governance, risk, and regulatory awareness; own cross-functional remediations and fin-crime initiatives
  • Lead the migration to a new BI platform: mapping, parallel runs, cutover, deprecation, stabilisation, and rollback planning
  • Scale self-serve data products (metrics layer, curated datasets, dashboards) with clear ownership, documentation, and lifecycle
  • Build strong relationships between Engineering and Analytics teams: shared intake and prioritisation, data contracts, and change management
  • Define success metrics and measurement plans; align on a single source of truth; communicate impact with clear visuals and narratives
  • Drive enablement (training, playbooks, catalog/lineage) to increase adoption
  • Optimise data platform performance and cost

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years in program/project or product delivery in complex orgs
  • 2+ years working closely with data or as an analyst
  • Proven multi-phase delivery using Agile/Waterfall/hybrid
  • Strong planning, dependencies, and risk management
  • Excellent communicator and influencer
  • Autonomous, pragmatic problem-solver

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fintech/financial services experience
  • Led a data platform migration or major re-platform across teams
  • Helped build self-serve data products; set up data quality frameworks and run data incidents
