About the Role

Join Wise's Compliance & Internal Audit Analytics team as a Compliance Analyst and partner with global compliance teams to drive Money Without Borders. You'll develop the reporting layer for compliance activities, including regulatory reporting and monitoring, providing assurance to the Board and regulators on risk management. Focused primarily on the UK with global opportunities, you'll establish engagement models, implement analytical support plans, and identify high-impact automated monitoring solutions in a collaborative, high-trust environment. In this role, you'll transform messy data into clean pipelines using SQL, dbt, and visualisation tools, while fostering strong partnerships across teams. With 3+ years in data analytics, bring your ownership, proactive mindset, and passion for compliance to build world-class analytics that protect customers and enable Wise's mission. Key Responsibilities

  • Establish effective engagement model between analytics and Compliance teams
  • Execute implementation plan for analytical support in regulatory reporting
  • Identify opportunities for automated compliance monitoring
  • Develop and own reporting layer for compliance activities
  • Partner with Monitoring & Testing team to execute testing plans
  • Leverage data to proactively monitor compliance risks globally
  • Build advanced SQL scripts and data pipelines
  • Maintain data assets and create visualisations for insights

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience working in data analytics
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage competing priorities
  • Experience mentoring junior team members
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of risk, compliance and internal audit in financial institutions
  • Experience in regulatory reporting and monitoring controls
  • Knowledge of analytics in compliance for risk management assurance
