About the Role

As Director of Investor Relations, reporting to the Senior Director and collaborating with the Owner Relations team, you will drive Wise’s engagement strategy with public markets, especially in the US. Lead interactions with analysts and investors to build conviction in our money without borders mission, shape compelling narratives with senior leaders, and ensure transparent disclosure of strategic, operational, and financial insights. You will produce high-impact publications and presentations, nurture sell-side relationships, execute targeted investor outreach via meetings and Zoom, and maintain an informative IR website while integrating ESG best practices. Explain market dynamics to leadership and partner with financial advisors to support Wise’s status as a listed company. Thrive in our collaborative, non-hierarchical culture by mentoring team members and embodying Wise values. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in IR for US-listed firms or top-tier equity analysis, deep US capital markets expertise, exceptional communication and financial modeling, and a track record of simplifying complexity under minimal direction. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategy of engagement with public markets, focused on the US market
  • Lead conversations with analysts and investors to nurture understanding and support of Wise's mission
  • Work with senior leaders to shape Wise's story with key messages and disclosures
  • Design and produce effective publications and presentations for periodic market reporting
  • Build and maintain relationships with sell-side analysts, managing expectations and market consensus
  • Execute investor engagement program including targeting investors and scheduling meetings
  • Contribute to development of Investor Relations website
  • Keep abreast of ESG reporting and incorporate best practices
  • Explain share price movements to senior management
  • Manage relationships with Wise's financial advisors

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Investor Relations for a US publicly listed corporate or as an equity analyst at a top tier bank
  • Deep and extensive knowledge of US investors and the wider capital markets
  • Experience partnering effectively with CEO and CFO

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within payments or fintech

Required Skills

  • Leadership in leading people and creating compelling narratives
  • Strong communication skills, listening to understand audiences and communicating clearly orally and in writing
  • Excellent financial modelling skills
  • Experience managing time-critical processes across multiple stakeholders with on-time delivery
