Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers building tooling and infrastructure for secure partner API integration
• Shape the developer experience for major enterprise partners to accelerate Wise’s time to revenue
• Champion robust security measures like mTLS and JOSE to protect partner data and meet financial institution requirements
• Own the development of the self-service developer portal for credential management and API monitoring
• Enhance the Sandbox environment to accurately mirror production for partner confidence before going live
• Guide the team in delivering a world-class developer experience based on security, tooling, and testability principles
• Mentor engineers on career growth and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand partner needs and prioritize impactful features

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and mentoring an engineering team, with a focus on career growth, delivery, and building an inclusive, high-performing culture
• A strong technical foundation in designing and building scalable, reliable APIs
• Expertise with modern API security standards, including OAuth and mTLS (mutual Transport Layer Security)
• A strong product mindset, with the ability to understand partner needs and guide your team in building an excellent developer experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
