About the Role

Join Wise as a Senior Employee Relations Advisor in our dynamic People Services team, based in Hyderabad, India. You'll be a trusted specialist handling end-to-end ER matters across APAC business functions, advising on complex cases from internal conflicts to escalated external issues while balancing risk and compliance. Partner globally with ER advisors, analyze data-driven trends to inform leadership, and drive policy updates to keep us ahead of employment law changes. Reporting to the APAC ER Regional Lead, you'll collaborate with People Partners, contribute to strategic planning, and lead projects that shape Wise's employee experience. Proactive knowledge sharing, training delivery, and process improvements will empower Leads and Wisers, ensuring a seamless journey in our mission to move money without borders. This role offers global impact in a diverse, inclusive environment with opportunities for continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end ER matters for dedicated APAC business functions
  • Advise Wisers and Leads on complex cases balancing risk and compliance
  • Partner on cross-geographical ER cases with global advisors
  • Collaborate with People Partners using ER data insights
  • Analyze ER trends and advise Senior Leadership on practices
  • Stay updated on local employment laws and ensure policy compliance
  • Lead local and global ER projects and deliver training sessions
  • Contribute to team goals, KPIs, and process optimizations

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Employee Relations or HR advisory roles
  • Deep knowledge of APAC employment laws and regulations
  • Experience handling complex ER cases including misconduct and disputes
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends from ER data
  • Proven track record in policy development and process improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a global tech company
  • Background in financial services
  • Project management certification
  • Training delivery experience
