Reporting directly to the Global Head of Reward, you will design and deliver executive compensation plans—including base salary, equity grants, and performance-based incentives—that align with our mission to provide min fees, max ease, and full speed for international money movement. This role demands expertise in benchmarking against peers, navigating complex regulations across jurisdictions like the UK and US, and collaborating with the Board, Remuneration Committee, and external advisors to ensure our programs drive business objectives while maintaining compliance and competitiveness. As a key player in our Global Reward team, you will lead equity strategy reviews, model vesting schedules and dilution forecasts, prepare critical disclosures like the Director’s Remuneration Report, and foster seamless experiences with vendors. Working in a fast-paced, inclusive environment with a truly international team, you will provide thought leadership, manage a Sr. Exec Comp Manager, and partner cross-functionally with legal, finance, tax, and stock teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage executive compensation programs, including base salary and equity-based compensation plans for Wise’s senior leaders
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis of executive compensation against industry peers to ensure competitiveness and alignment with market trends
  • Support the design and implementation of comprehensive compensation strategies for Wise’s senior leaders, aligning the strategy with Wise’s Mission and external requirements
  • Support the Global Head of Reward in designing / reviewing the company wide equity programmes
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and key point of contact for all matters related to executive remuneration
  • Lead the preparation of the Remuneration Committee/ Compensation Committee processes
  • Prepare regulatory submissions including drafting the Director’s Remuneration Report, Remuneration Policy Statement and other required disclosures
  • Manage the day-to-day relationships with external vendors, including compensation consultants and legal advisors

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive & proven experience in managing and designing regional and global core and executive compensation policies and practices
  • Strong understanding of executive compensation principles, practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, conduct benchmarking analysis, and make data-driven recommendations
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the financial services industry
