You'll ensure adherence to accounting, regulatory, and tax standards while partnering with cross-functional teams to support expansion, new products, and optimisation for customer growth. In this hybrid role, you'll collaborate with the Head of Finance Pacific, Regional Controllers, and global teams to manage audits, controls, and financial reporting under Australian GAAP, IFRS, and regulations like FAR. Reviewing monthly/quarterly financials, enhancing processes, and providing commercial insights, you'll thrive in a flexible, fast-paced environment as a self-starter with deep financial expertise. Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Head of Finance Pacific, Regional Controllers, and Reporting & Tax teams for financial compliance
  • Control local audits, outsource firms, and financial regulatory relationships
  • Support regional Expansion, Banking, Compliance, Product, & People Teams for new entities, products, and legislation
  • Collaborate with Finance Product team and Group Accounting for systems, controls, and processes
  • Review monthly and quarterly financials for accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with accounting, regulatory, and tax requirements
  • Leverage technical finance skills for business partnering
  • Prepare finance for growth and optimise customer products

Required Qualifications

  • Finance professional with background in financial controlling, audit, or management accounting
  • Deep understanding of Statutory GAAP in Australia/New Zealand and IFRS
  • Expertise in financial resources controls and industry-specific regulatory rules
  • Skilled at data analysis, improving controls and internal processes
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder groups (e.g., Auditors and Advisors)
  • Able to provide financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, comfortable with uncertainty and minimal guidance
  • Support compliance under Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) or other regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Banking, FinTech, or financial services
  • Background in Statutory Reporting (GAAP) and Management Reporting (IFRS/US GAAP)
  • Experience as Finance Business Partner with commercial acumen
