Join our growing AML Investigations team in Budapest as a FinCrime Investigator to protect customers and Wise by investigating and reporting suspicious activity, directly impacting our mission to create a new network for the world's money—for everyone, everywhere. In this role, you'll review alerted accounts, assess payment patterns, gather supporting information, and own investigations while escalating risks per procedures. You'll collaborate with developers and product teams to enhance compliance in our products, all while growing as an AML specialist in a dynamic, global environment. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out reviews on alerted accounts using internal and external information
• Assess actual payment activity and payment patterns
• Obtain further supporting information to mitigate ML/TF concerns
• Request and analyse supporting documents when needed
• Take ownership of individual investigations and escalate suspicious activity per internal procedures
• Participate in feedback loops with AML Investigation team and developers/product teams to improve product quality from a compliance perspective
• Other ad hoc duties as needed
