Join our Spend design team as Group Design Lead to shape best-in-class spending experiences for millions of users across 40+ countries. Lead designers in delivering complex projects involving multi-currency spending, card onboarding, and seamless management, blending digital and physical elements to delight customers worldwide. You’ll partner with product, engineering, analytics, and research leads to set design vision, drive customer-centered innovation, and ensure high-quality outcomes for our growing squad in Singapore, London, and Tallinn. Champion creativity and collaboration to solve real user needs for international spending, travel, and relocation, creating emotional, scalable experiences that build deeper connections. This role offers global impact on a debit card product used by 16M diverse users, with opportunities to lead world-class work, influence cross-functions, and grow a talented design team in an inclusive, mission-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Group Product Manager, Engineering Lead, Analytics Lead, researchers, and content designers
• Build deep empathy and understanding of Wise customers' needs
• Guide designers using full range of Product Design and leadership skills to deliver impactful projects
• Set vision and take ownership for design quality of products and processes
• Champion customer-centeredness, creativity, and design quality within the team
• Identify opportunities, prioritise, and drive creative direction
• Lead and grow a team of talented designers
• Create simple, delightful experiences for complex financial products serving 16M global users

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Product Designer / Design Leader, championing customer-first design initiatives
• Portfolio of well-crafted, impactful work in digital product design and brand design
• Proven record of leading a highly functioning design team that has consistently delivered features at global scale
• Strong storytelling skills to manage stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams
• Natural collaborator who designs in the open, leveraging other functions’ expertise

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial products or fintech
• Background in leading design for global, multi-currency products
• Expertise in both digital and physical product experiences
