We’re seeking a strategic Head of Regional Payment Operations for the Latam Region to lead teams across Latin American corridors, directly managing senior leads and overseeing 20+ professionals. With deep knowledge of LATAM payment systems, you’ll drive compliance, automation, and scalability in our global Payment Operations group. In this key leadership role, you’ll build high-performing teams, ensure SLA excellence across currencies and schemes, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Treasury to deliver seamless services worldwide. Key Responsibilities

• Build, lead and grow high-performing payment operations teams
• Ensure compliance and SLA excellence across multiple currencies and schemes
• Drive change through AI, automation, and process transformation
• Partner cross-functionally to scale our payments infrastructure
• Directly manage senior function leads and indirectly oversee 20+ professionals
• Work alongside Product, Engineering, Treasury, and other stakeholders
• Deliver seamless payment services to customers across Europe and the world
• Shape the future of payments in Latin America and beyond

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years total in payments or ops leadership roles in a Global environment
• 5+ years managing leaders of teams
• Domain knowledge of LatAm payment schemes
• Experience scaling ops orgs via automation and AI
• Strong compliance and risk management awareness
• Background in financial services (FinTech, PSPs, banks)

Preferred Qualifications

• Product background or experience launching payment products
• AI/ML or automation tools experience in ops
• Technical understanding of APIs or system architecture
• Led international teams or expansion projects

• Expertise in Payments and regulatory frameworks
• Passion for operational efficiency and team development
• Excellent cross-functional stakeholder communication
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• Ability to clearly articulate your thoughts
• Ability to travel internationally
• Spanish skills (a plus)
• Fintech, banking, or PSP experience
