Join our Growth and Strategic Finance Team in London as Lead Data Analyst - Finance & Treasury, where you'll lead data-driven decisions that pilot the rocket ship, from curating scalable datasets to influencing company strategy. Your impact will span analysing growth drivers, optimising costs central to our mission, and crafting pricing strategies that drive customer behaviour and expansion. With strong SQL, Python/R, stats, and visualisation skills, you'll collaborate cross-functionally, manage stakeholders, and deliver analyses that shape Wise's future. Backed by 4-7 years of experience and a mathematical mindset, you'll thrive in our diverse, inclusive environment. We offer £75,000-£100,000 salary, RSUs, hybrid work, generous leave including sabbaticals, and a vibrant London office. Note: Finance roles require criminal and credit checks per regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curating datasets and surfacing metrics
  • Conducting statistical modelling and deeper dive analysis
  • Helping understand drivers of company growth
  • Analysing cost generation and developing strategic plans to reduce costs
  • Developing better pricing strategies to incentivise behaviour and growth
  • Leading to better decisions for the company and customers
  • Self-organising and managing stakeholders
  • Demonstrating impact beyond basic role requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 4-7 years experience in similar roles
  • Mathematical background
  • Legally authorised to work in the UK

Preferred Qualifications

  • DBT
  • Data modelling in a warehouse context
  • Understanding of testing and experimental design

Required Skills

  • Strong SQL skills
  • Python/R
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Decent understanding of stats and statistical modelling
  • Data visualisation and storytelling ability
