Key Responsibilities

  • Develop supply and demand forecasts for liquidity management across multi-region products and currencies
  • Conduct data analysis to optimise liquidity efficiency and balance sufficiency with minimising excess
  • Collaborate with engineering to implement scalable models in treasury backoffice systems
  • Build bespoke models for stress events and new product launches
  • Create models to analyse liquidity consumption by company products
  • Partner with product and operations teams to turn liquidity risk scenarios into actionable insights
  • Document and present model results to senior stakeholders, controllers, and Risk team
  • Influence decision-making to ensure liquidity risk aligns with business objectives

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of experience in data science roles, with a focus on financial modelling or liquidity management
  • Proven track record developing forecasting models for supply and demand in complex environments
  • Strong experience with liquidity risk modelling and stress testing
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including treasury, engineering, and risk
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech or treasury operations
  • Knowledge of multi-currency liquidity management
  • Background in real-time data processing and operational systems
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for financial risk management
