About the Role

Wise is a global technology company on a mission to build the best way to move and manage the world’s money without borders. We’re seeking a Principal Product Designer - Regional Experience to join our rapidly growing team in Singapore as the first designer focused on Regional Expansion. In this high-leverage role, you’ll lead initiatives across all areas of the Wise product to substantially improve customer experiences in APAC markets, partnering with Analytics, Research, and Product within an autonomous, fast-moving full-stack team backed by Wise’s global resources. You’ll drive design strategy towards a north star, set the bar for excellence, and craft innovative, user-centric experiences for mobile and web. With 10+ years of experience, you’ll own your impact—from discovering opportunities to shipping work you’re proud of—while building influence to foster creativity and quality. Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Analytics and Research to understand Wise customers and their goals
• Partner with Product to drive design strategy and direction for APAC business
• Set a high bar for design excellence and lead by example
• Use full range of product design skills to discover, design and deliver well-crafted experiences
• Build influence across the team to increase customer-centricity, creativity and design quality
• Ship innovative, easy-to-use and clear product experiences
• Own impact by deciding opportunities to work on and defining success metrics
• Elevate product quality by defining standards and helping team deliver them

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Product Designer, championing customer-first design initiatives
• Portfolio of well-crafted, impactful work that solves real problems for real people
• Natural collaborator, designing in the open and leveraging other functions’ expertise
• High level of design craft, comfortable designing for mobile and web surfaces
• Experience working with design systems to produce scalable, beautiful and functional design
• Practice evidence-based design and can rationalise decisions clearly and credibly

Preferred Qualifications

• Default to prototyping when presenting work
• Already using AI tooling for prototyping
• Experience in APAC markets or regional expansion
