About the Role

Join Wise Business, our international business account helping small and medium-sized businesses focus on growth. As a Product Analyst in the brand new Business Operations Tooling team, you'll build the tooling and infrastructure to empower our Account Specialists in supporting Business customers. Partnering with Product and Engineering, you'll define data requirements, create initial pipelines and dashboards, and deliver actionable insights to drive efficiency and roadmap decisions in one of the company's fastest-growing areas. In this greenfield role, you'll own the analytical foundation from scratch, challenging assumptions to foster a data-driven culture and ensure Operations scale smartly. Thrive in ambiguity, map workflows, and turn complex data into clear strategies that influence Product prioritization and operational success. With strong SQL, visualization skills, and communication, you'll make a direct impact on Wise's mission to move money without borders. Key Responsibilities

  • Defining the 'Right' Tools: Partner closely with Product and Engineering to define data requirements and logic ensuring the right tool is built to support Account Specialists
  • Building the Analytical Greenfield Foundation: Take ownership of building the very first dashboards and metrics from scratch and establish standards for tracking success
  • Steering strategy with actionable insights: Proactively derive insights to steer Operations on efficiency and Product on feature prioritization influencing the roadmap
  • Challenging the status quo: Help move stakeholders towards a data-driven mindset using findings to challenge assumptions and ensure efficient scaling
  • Managing Ambiguity: Navigate a brand new team environment where processes and supporting data may not exist yet helping to build them from scratch

Required Qualifications

  • Strong analytical thinking and data analysis skills (spreadsheets and SQL)
  • Data Visualization: Experience with data visualisation tools (Looker, Superset, PowerBI, Tableau etc.) and storytelling ability with data
  • Process & Logical Thinking: Ability to map out operational workflows to understand tooling needs and logical requirements
  • Communication: Ability to explain complex data clearly to non-technical Operations and Product partners
  • Initiative & Ownership: Comfortable working in a greenfield environment with a desire to understand the 'why' behind operational inefficiencies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain Experience: Experience in B2B or FinTech, specifically understanding high-touch account management (e.g., lead scoring, churn prevention, or cross-sell loops)
  • Commercial Thinking: Experience applying analytics to sales or revenue problems, such as calculating ROI or analyzing funnel conversion rates
