As Product Director for Brazil at Wise, you'll own the mission to revolutionize international payments, making them as seamless as local ones. Define the next generation of financial products, from user acquisition to ecosystem expansion with balances, payouts, and the Wise card. Lead cross-functional efforts to optimize speed and costs, translate complex regulations into effortless experiences, and collaborate globally to accelerate expansion. With deep Brazil fintech knowledge and entrepreneurial drive, you'll make Wise the default choice for millions, leveraging data, analytics, and partnerships to deliver 10x better solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Own the Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute product strategy for Brazil, deciding on currencies, payment methods, and build/buy/partner decisions
• Lead and Scale a World-Class Team: Mentor, manage, and inspire product managers in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams
• Drive Explosive User Growth: Launch new currencies and payout methods to boost acquisition and engagement
• Expand the Product Ecosystem: Enable holding balances, getting paid, and local spending with Wise card in Brazil
• Champion Speed and Cost: Optimize currency corridors for lowest costs and fastest payments
• Translate Complex Compliance into Simple Experiences: Design seamless experiences from regulatory requirements
• Collaborate to Scale Faster: Work with core platform and operations for smooth partner integrations

Required Qualifications

• Proven Product Leadership: Significant experience building and scaling products to millions of users, leading and mentoring high-performing teams of product managers as a player-coach
• Brazil Payments Expert: Deep domain knowledge of the Brazilian payments and fintech landscape (e.g., Pix, local acquiring, e-commerce, banking regulations)
• Strategic & Analytical: Exceptional clarity of thinking, structuring ambiguous problems, using data and analytics to solve challenges and build multi-year vision
• End-to-End Delivery: Proven ability to deliver complex products by collaborating across engineering, compliance, operations, and other departments
• Customer-Obsessed: Turning intricate technical and regulatory constraints into simple, beautiful user experiences
• Entrepreneurial Drive: True entrepreneurial spirit, creative mindset, challenging status quo with proven impact
• Exceptional Communicator: Communicating ideas clearly across all levels, from team inspiration to senior stakeholders and partners
• Language Fluency: Fluent in both English and Portuguese (essential)

• Experience in international payments or fintech expansion in emerging markets
• Hands-on experience with payment infrastructure launches (currencies, methods)
• Track record of optimizing costs and speed in high-growth markets
