The Financial Crime Platform team is dedicated to enhancing the scalability, efficiency, and quality of Wise Operations by minimizing handling time, increasing automation, and reducing friction through innovative technology. Our squad of ~30 professionals across three cross-functional teams builds robust frameworks for work distribution, customizable workflow tools, and a 360-degree customer data view to swiftly address issues. As Product Director, you will lead this dynamic squad, driving initiatives to standardize compliance processes, consolidate tooling, and integrate improvements with Product, Analytics, Data Science, Operations, and Compliance teams. This hands-on leadership role offers the chance to build state-of-the-art solutions, impact millions of users' financial lives, reduce servicing costs to advance Wise's mission, and empower autonomous teams while growing as a leader connected to global product efforts. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Financial Crime Platform Squad in initiatives aimed at improving our platform
• Collaborate closely with Product, Analytics, Data Science, Operations, and Compliance teams to integrate improvements across the product lifecycle
• Oversee the execution of key projects, including standardisation of all compliance and risk processes
• Consolidate tooling and adjacent functions (QA, WFM, and more)
• Provide strategic direction while being hands-on in project leadership and execution
• Build world-class products with a world-class product and engineering team
• Make a real impact on people's lives by enhancing international money management
• Empower teams to create their own vision and grow as a leader across Wise

Required Qualifications

• You’ve built products at scale – You’ve worked on a product with thousands or even millions of customers
• You’re able to navigate the product and organisational complexity of a product at scale
• You have leadership experience – You’ve led product teams before, and have experience hiring and growing the team
• You have hired product managers of different seniority levels (IC and Lead level) and successfully onboarded them
• You’re hands on – You thrive as a player-coach
