We're seeking a Senior Manager in Financial Crime Product Compliance for our Correspondent Services team within the Wise Platform Product group. Wise Platform empowers financial institutions and businesses with seamless payments infrastructure. In this role, you'll partner closely with product teams to embed robust financial crime controls into new products, markets, and integrations worldwide, ensuring compliance while driving scalable growth. Your key focus will be developing processes to detect and mitigate financial crime risks, monitoring emerging typologies and regulations, and collaborating with global FinCrime teams and partners. You'll interpret regulations, influence business development, and tackle permission challenges to unlock new opportunities. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product teams to define controls and interpret regulation to ensure all new Wise Platform products globally have the right financial crime controls
  • Keep an eye on emerging typologies and regulatory requirements around the world and implement changes as necessary
  • Understand Wise FinCrime controls and work with both the Wise Platform team and Global FinCrime product teams to make necessary changes
  • Communicate with partners about our compliance program and expectations
  • Empathise and incorporate feedback into internal processes as required
  • Identify challenges to regulatory permissions and work to unlock growth through new licenses
  • Develop scalable processes to identify and effectively manage financial crime risks across product types, markets and integrations globally
  • Support business development conversations to ensure compliance while unlocking growth

Required Qualifications

  • 6 years experience in Financial Crime Compliance within Financial Services, specifically within advisory or control design and development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience focused on Correspondent Banking, Third Party Payments (3PP), Marketplaces or Transactional Banking
  • Experience (or interest) in working in a fast-growing technology driven environment
  • Willing to travel as needed and up to 25% of the time
