As Senior Product Manager - Cards Pay-In, you’ll inherit and evolve our card pay-in strategy, ensuring billions in annual volumes are processed safely, sustainably, and at the lowest cost while driving growth across personal and business products. You’ll identify opportunities to boost payment performance, reduce fraud, and optimise costs, balancing these against regulatory, compliance, and engineering constraints. Owning the roadmap, you’ll lead launches for new currencies with regional teams, enhance card support in business offerings like “Get Paid with Cards,” and manage key external partnerships with acquirers and card schemes. This role demands analytical prowess, technical comfort, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity to deliver first-time success for genuine customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure billions in annual card volumes are processed safely and sustainably
  • Evolve the existing card pay-in strategy, optimising volume and driving growth initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve payment performance, mitigate fraud and lower card costs
  • Balance opportunities against regulatory, compliance and engineering needs
  • Own the roadmap for card payments to process first time for genuine customers at the lowest price
  • Lead growth initiatives for cards, supporting regional teams to launch card pay-ins for new currencies
  • Spearhead efforts to support card payments across Wise’s Business products e.g. optimising for Payment Facilitator product, “Get Paid with Cards”
  • Manage external relationships with acquiring partners, card schemes and other key 3rd parties

Required Qualifications

  • Understanding and relevant experience of working with the card payments sector with proven experience in improving acquiring card performance
  • At least 5+ years experience in a Senior Product Manager role, having developed and implemented successful product strategies with measurable, successful outcomes
  • Highly analytical and comfortable using data - both quantitative and qualitative - to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives and refine the product strategy
  • Demonstrated collaboration with engineers and analysts to successfully launch a new feature or product to market and/or made significant improvements to an existing product
  • Worked closely with back-end engineers and comfortable making technical trade-offs to deliver faster for customers
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and not knowing all the answers, and can take complex situations and bring structure, focus, and direction
