Key Responsibilities

• Launch high-impact direct access integrations for Swiss Franc (CHF) and Swedish Krona (SEK)
• Maintain, scale, and optimise existing infrastructure for operational excellence
• Reduce risk and improve system resilience in collaboration with operations and banking teams
• Build features for seamless financial transitions for international relocators
• Drive efficiency and low costs through data-driven solutions
• Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams to solve customer pain-points
• Write testable code following best practices, code reviews, and open feedback
• Raise automation levels to enable product scaling

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java, Kotlin or other JVM based language, experience with Spring framework and deep understanding of JDBC and database internals
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Distributed and Concurrent Systems
• A strong product mindset and passion for user experience, prioritising work with customers in mind and making data-driven decisions
• Ability to work independently on customer problems with end-to-end ownership
• Close collaboration with product managers, data scientists, data analysts, engineers and other product teams
• Great communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience working with relational databases, query optimisation and designing schemas

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial systems or payment processing
• Knowledge of Swiss Franc (CHF) or Swedish Krona (SEK) payment systems
• Background in high-stakes, mission-critical environments
