Key Responsibilities

• Own large-scale projects and lead technical roadmaps for initiatives spanning 8+ engineering weeks
• Design scalable backend services and APIs using long-term design patterns
• Contribute across full-stack with backend strength, ensuring seamless frontend-backend integration
• Maintain system availability, reliability, and security
• Drive team technical roadmap and provide product feedback on customer impact
• Proactively manage technical debt within risk appetite
• Promote cross-team collaboration to avoid duplication
• Mentor engineers, lead onboarding, and enforce engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge in backend technologies
• Strong understanding of frontend technologies
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable systems
• Proven mentorship and coaching skills
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills
• Ownership mindset with emphasis on redundancy and knowledge sharing
