As a Senior Technical Accounting Manager in the Finance team, you will drive critical accounting workstreams for our US stock exchange listing, ensuring accurate US GAAP compliance for financial instruments and scalable processes amid rapid growth. You will own complex accounting positions, document policies, partner with diverse teams and auditors, and uplift SOX controls while embedding accounting into business operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of accounting for financial instruments under US GAAP, including documenting position papers and explaining to stakeholders and auditors
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and other teams to ensure correct US GAAP application and update processes/policies
  • Design scalable processes and systems to support rapid growth and US stock exchange listing
  • Manage high-stakes financial workstreams such as accounting for financial instruments under IFRS and US GAAP
  • Uplift SOX controls in related areas
  • Embed accounting into business operations beyond just the books
  • Share deep accounting knowledge with wider Finance teams
  • Work independently to solve complex problems with minimal guidance

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in respect of accounting for financial instruments under US GAAP
  • 5+ years prior experience as a Senior Technical Accountant, Senior Accounting Adviser or Senior Audit Manager
  • Professional finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent (beneficial)
  • Experience with IPO processes and stock exchange listings (US preferred)
  • Prior experience in the SOX controls framework

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent
  • Experience with IPO processes and stock exchange listings (US preferred)
  • Experience improving accounting processes in light of SOX requirements
