Join Wise as a Staff Content Designer in FinCrime and tackle the challenge of moving money globally without breaking the law. You'll lead content strategy across cross-functional teams, transforming complex, stressful regulatory experiences into simple, calming ones. By shaping our global Acceptable Use Policy and crafting empathetic communications, you'll protect vulnerable customers from scams while firmly deterring bad actors like money launderers—balancing compliance with exceptional user experiences that drive trust and growth. Your role will involve writing for two key audiences: vulnerable individuals needing supportive guidance through victim flows and educational nudges, and potential violators requiring clear, proportional warnings. You'll innovate ways to prevent account issues, educate on platform rules, and foster a safer Wise for everyone. Key Responsibilities

• Lead content design strategy and projects across FinCrime teams
• Simplify complex regulatory concepts for customer-facing experiences
• Write empathetic communications for vulnerable customers and scam victims
• Develop educational nudges and strategies to prevent AUP violations
• Craft firm, clear messaging on penalties and inappropriate behaviors
• Collaborate with Funds Risks teams to identify and deter bad actors
• Shape the Acceptable Use Policy to be readable and effective
• Balance regulatory obligations with world-class customer experiences

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in content design or UX writing
• Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, empathetic communications
• Experience writing policies, terms, or regulatory content
• Proven track record leading content design strategy and projects
• Strong understanding of financial compliance or FinCrime challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech or regulated industries
• Background working with cross-functional teams in product or design
• Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks like Acceptable Use Policies
