Join our FinCrime team as a Staff Product Designer to focus on keeping customer money safe by identifying and mitigating risks in funds movement. You’ll design intuitive mobile and web experiences for our global customers and operations agents combating cybercrime and ensuring security while contributing to Wise’s mission of money without borders. In this role you’ll collaborate with product teams to transform complex investigation workflows into seamless user-friendly tools that agents and customers love reducing operational costs and driving growth. Develop deep customer empathy leverage your full design skills to ship innovative impactful work and partner cross-functionally to define roadmaps elevating design quality and customer-centricity. Key Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of Wise customers and their goals
• Engage with FinCrime agents to build empathy and gain insights into their challenges
• Leverage full range of Product Design skills to discover design and deliver simple crafted mobile and web experiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to transform complex workflows into intuitive user-friendly experiences
• Partner with team to define roadmap and focus on most impactful work
• Enhance customer-centricity creativity and design quality in the team
• Design end-to-end experiences across Personal and Business products
• Contribute to identifying and mitigating risks in funds movement to keep customer money safe

Required Qualifications

• Portfolio of well-crafted impactful work solving real problems for real people
• Experience designing for mobile and web desktop surfaces including customer experiences and internal tools
• Default to prototyping when presenting work
• Experience working with design systems to produce scalable beautiful and functional design
• Practice evidence-based design and rationalise decisions clearly and credibly
• Customer-focused design practice that is inherently strategic

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FinCrime financial crime or security domains
• Background in fintech or payments industry
• Experience designing for global diverse customer bases
