Third Party Risk Senior Regional Liaison

As Third Party Risk Senior Regional Liaison, you'll be the key representative ensuring rigorous adherence to our group's TPRM framework across allocated entities and regions. You'll bridge central functions with local teams, driving policy localization, risk oversight, and compliance while safeguarding against third-party risks in our fast-paced fintech environment. In this pivotal role, you'll own regional TPRM activities like regulatory mapping, quarterly risk assessments, governance representation, audit support, and IntraGroup coordination. Collaborating with 2L Risk & Compliance, Regional Banking, Product teams, and Internal Audit, you'll influence decision-making, escalate issues, and enhance our robust risk framework. Join us to protect our global operations and support Wise's mission for everyone, everywhere. This position offers a salary range of 132,000 - 158,500 USD Annual, based in Austin with global flexibility, and is part of our Customer Support team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as primary liaison for group's TPRM framework in allocated regions and entities
  • Own localization of TPRM including regulatory mapping, remediation oversight, and outsourcing registers
  • Support local quarterly risk assessments (RCSA) and key risk indicators
  • Represent Third Party Risk in local governance forums and own Regional Sync meetings
  • Provide support for audits, exams, and regulatory requests ensuring group policy alignment
  • Coordinate IntraGroup risk activities like materiality assessments and exit strategies
  • Oversee local controls for third-party risks and escalate deviations with corrective actions
  • Guide regional teams on policy implementation and local regulatory interpretations

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) or related risk/compliance roles
  • Strong understanding of global and local regulatory requirements for third-party outsourcing
  • Proven track record in liaising between central functions and regional entities
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Law, or related field
  • 5+ years in financial services, preferably in fintech or banking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IntraGroup risk activities and materiality assessments
  • Knowledge of multiple regional regulatory landscapes (e.g., US, EU, APAC)
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or similar
  • Prior exposure to audit/exam support in a multinational environment
