We're seeking a UK Regulatory Assurance Compliance Senior Manager for a maternity cover role up to 24 months, based in London within our Risk and Compliance team. In this critical position, you'll develop and lead the execution of our UK regulatory compliance monitoring and testing plan, collaborating across Product, Treasury, Operations, and global teams to strengthen our risk management for current and new products. Your mission is to deliver risk-based assurance by identifying and testing key controls, evolving innovative testing methods, and leading the UK Reg CMT team to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes. Proactively address control gaps, track enhancements to completion, and adapt to shifting regulatory landscapes, growth initiatives, and compliance priorities while sharing best practices globally. Ideal candidates bring deep risk and control experience from compliance, audit, or consulting, with a passion for fintech challenges at a fast-growing scale-up. Key Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to create and deliver a risk-based monitoring and testing plan for the UK
• Identify and test key controls to evaluate compliance with rules and regulations
• Collaborate with Financial Crime Assurance and other teams to avoid duplication
• Lead and develop the UK Reg CMT team for high quality and timely execution
• Proactively communicate solutions for control gaps and track to completion
• Support wider monitoring and testing team strategy with global colleagues
• Evolve testing/monitoring methods and approaches
• Adapt focus based on regulatory agenda, growth plans and compliance needs

Required Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of risk and control
• Experience in designing and carrying out risk-based controls testing in compliance, IA, audit or consulting
• Comfortable working with high degree of autonomy and managing evolving priorities
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
• Ready to travel roughly once every two to three months

Preferred Qualifications

• Good understanding of FCA/PRA expectations
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance landscape for payments and investment firms in the UK
• Experience in fintech or scale-up environment
