About the Role

Join Wise's award-winning Design & Research team as a UX/UI/Service Design Intern in our 10-week paid programme starting 22nd June 2026. You'll collaborate with a Design sponsor on real cross-functional projects, solving genuine customer problems while building deep empathy and honing your craft skills. Gain exposure to Wise's global mission of creating money without borders, develop a portfolio case study, and connect with over 100 designers and researchers in a human-centred design environment. You'll flex your Figma fluency, visual design passion, and problem-solving prowess to deliver intuitive solutions, iterating from user research and rationalising decisions collaboratively. Based at our new London HQ near Liverpool Street, enjoy mentorship, business-wide learning, and social perks while contributing fresh ideas to our quarterly projects. Key Responsibilities

• Get to know Wise customers and build empathy for their needs
• Hone craft skills in a collaborative environment
• Collaborate with sponsor, Wisers, and fellow interns on cross-functional projects
• Work on real projects solving real customer problems
• Develop a refined case study for interviews
• Connect with design community to inject fresh thinking
• Learn about the whole business
• Iterate based on user research

Required Qualifications

• Graduate in Summer 2027 or self-taught career switcher to Design
• Available for 10-week internship from 22nd June 2026 to 28th August 2026
• Able to be in person most of the time at new HQ north of Liverpool Street Station
• Eligible to work in the United Kingdom

Preferred Qualifications

• From an under-represented demographic

• Experience with cross-functional collaboration
