WVU Medicine is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Gastroenterology team at United Hospital Center (UHC) in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity for a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in a well-established and supportive clinical environment. The APP will play a vital role in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of gastroenterological conditions. Comprehensive training in the gastroenterology specialty will be provided, ensuring the successful candidate has the tools and knowledge to excel.

Applicants must be Board-Certified Nurse Practitioners (NP) or Physician Assistants (PA) with an active and unrestricted license (or eligibility) in West Virginia. Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program and national certification are also required.
While prior GI experience is a plus, it is not required. Comprehensive training in the gastroenterology specialty will be provided.
This is a full-time position with scheduled weekly hours of 40. No call or weekends are required.
There is no call requirement for this position.
