- Ensure availability of test results for patient visits

- Administer prescribed medication under the supervision of an attending provider
- Perform qualitative and quantitative tests and examinations of specimens
- Obtain and document patients’ specimens as ordered
- Document and report test results to medical provider
- Perform assigned and/or all ordered Point of Care Testing (POCT) tests and maintain quality control testing and logs (after training and skills testing)
- Schedule additional ancillary testing as needed
- Act as a chaperone during medical examinations
- Ensure medical records and test results are available for visit, including those from referring physicians
