The minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, and three (3) years of healthcare experience.
While not required, two (2) years in a healthcare management/supervisory position is preferred.
The physical requirements include the ability to assist patients and move equipment, lift up to 60 pounds, push carts, position patients, and perform bending and stretching movements.
The working environment is a clinical setting with regular and constant exposure to communicable diseases and other health hazards.
