WVU Medicine is seeking a dedicated and experienced Ambulatory Office Supervisor to join our team at the GMH Rapid Care Clinic in Morgantown, West Virginia. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our ambulatory office. You will supervise and coordinate the activities of our dedicated staff, ensuring that we provide exceptional patient care and maintain a positive and supportive work environment.
As the Ambulatory Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our ambulatory office, ensuring that we meet our goals for patient care, operational efficiency, and employee satisfaction. You will provide leadership and guidance to our team of medical assistants, receptionists, and other support staff, ensuring that they have the resources and support they need to excel in their roles. You will also work closely with our physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure that we are providing the highest quality of care to our patients.
Each day as an Ambulatory Office Supervisor will bring new challenges and opportunities. You might start your day by reviewing patient schedules and ensuring that we have adequate staffing levels to meet our needs. You might then spend time coaching and counseling staff, addressing any performance issues, and providing support and encouragement. You will also be responsible for handling patient complaints, investigating issues, and working to find resolutions. Throughout the day, you will be monitoring our daily operations, ensuring that we are adhering to our policies and procedures and meeting our goals for efficiency and patient satisfaction. You will also collaborate with other departments to resolve problems and improve our overall operations.
