A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience will be considered. Relevant certifications and/or proficiencies may be required within 90 days following formal training provided by WVUHS Information Technology.

The core duties include assisting in diagnosing and resolving IT issues, supporting system modifications and testing, participating in functional and integrated testing, contributing to system error correction and optimization, assisting with user security management, collaborating on system enhancements, supporting the gathering of requirements, creating and maintaining technical documentation, and providing basic user support and training.
