  • Utilize the EPIC/Telemetry Dashboard to ensure the accuracy of patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Assemble telemetry packs, including batteries and electrodes, for nursing staff, ensuring a sufficient inventory of clean packs and available batteries.
  • Monitor telemetry equipment and assist with troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment, promptly notifying the Healthcare Technology Supervisor and Nurse Manager.
  • Perform greeting and admitting functions upon patients’ arrival to the department, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Carry out routine clerical operations to ensure seamless communication and functioning, including intra-hospital communications, admit/transfer/discharge information, mail distribution, and office supply maintenance.
  • Organize and maintain patient records and appropriate department records to ensure accurate and complete documentation, adhering to privacy and confidentiality standards.
  • Coordinate and facilitate ongoing communication to ensure efficient intradepartmental and interdepartmental operations, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Welcome visitors to the department and respond in a helpful and courteous manner to requests for assistance or information, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
  • Participate in continuing education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to cardiac monitoring and patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care, contributing to a positive patient experience.
